Why we're building Aeris

Aeris is pronounced “AIR-iss.” The name comes from the Latin aeris, meaning both “of the air” — light and fast — and “of bronze / of money,” a reference to the Roman treasury, the aerarium.
Aeris started with a simple idea: market software should feel immediate, focused, and dependable. Too many trading workflows are split across browser tabs, vendor dashboards, and tools that were never designed to work as one system.
We are building Aeris as a native desktop workspace with direct connections to supported market-data providers, local workspaces, and a charting engine we control end to end. The goal is not to ship the longest feature list; it is to make the core market workflow fast, coherent, and trustworthy.
Charting and supported market data are available today. Screening, analytics, and other workflows will be introduced as they are ready rather than presented as finished before they are.
